Dr. Elias Abdi is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care for children and families.
His approach focuses on creating positive dental experiences while helping children develop healthy habits that support lifelong oral health.
A Minneapolis native and graduate of Roosevelt High School, Dr. Abdi is proud to serve the community that helped shape him. He completed his undergraduate studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato, before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Abdi completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. During his residency, he gained extensive experience caring for children of all ages, including patients with dental anxiety and special healthcare needs.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry , Dr. Abdi emphasizes prevention, education, and trust. He believes every child deserves a calm, supportive environment where they feel safe and comfortable.
Dr. Abdi is fluent in English and Somali, allowing him to better serve and connect with a diverse community of children and families.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, traveling, and exploring his interests in science fiction and fitness.

Dr. Abdi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
He completed his specialty residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
