Elias Abdi, D.D.S.
Dr. Elias Abdi is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care for children and families. His approach focuses on creating positive dental experiences while helping children develop healthy habits that support lifelong oral health.
A Minneapolis native and graduate of Roosevelt High School, Dr. Abdi is proud to serve the community that helped shape him. He completed his undergraduate studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. During his training, he gained extensive experience caring for children of all ages, including those with dental anxiety and special healthcare needs.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Abdi emphasizes prevention, education, and trust. He believes every child deserves a calm, supportive environment where they feel safe, confident, and comfortable throughout their dental visit. He is also bilingual in English and Somali, allowing him to better serve and connect with a diverse community of patients and families.
Outside the office, Dr. Abdi enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, traveling, and exploring his interests in science fiction and fitness.
