A Minneapolis native, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry before completing his pediatric dentistry residency at Children's Hospital of Michigan, where he received advanced training in caring for infants, children, teens, and patients with special healthcare needs.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Abdi is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and creating positive dental experiences that help children feel comfortable and confident at every visit. Fluent in both English and Somali, he is proud to provide compassionate, family-centered care to the diverse Maple Grove community.
